What we accept

  • Empty steel or plastic drums, grouped by material and by what they held.

  • Drums upright and stable, with lids and any liners noted.

  • No minimum. The four-IBC minimum does not apply to drums.

  • Tell us about any liquid left inside, damage or unknown contents. We check these before booking.

  • Drums with regulated residue go through Transnitro, not in an ordinary load.

Tell us what the drums held

Used drums Melbourne businesses clear out may have held food ingredients, lubricants or coatings. What a drum held matters more than its colour, so keep the labels on.

A drum that has stopped pouring can still hold residue. Tell us if it has a removable lid, a fixed top, a damaged closure or a liner.

Keep drums whole

Keep drums with unknown contents out of an ordinary load.

Keep lids on and store drums so they can't roll. Don't tip leftovers from one drum into another. Photograph a label, the lids and the full batch, including damaged drums.

Count and loading

We look at drums alongside our empty IBC service. Email the count of steel and plastic drums, your suburb and the loading access.

Email us a photo of the material.
