How we work

This polystyrene recycling Melbourne service is for business delivery packaging, collected once or on a regular schedule.

The problem

Deliveries are planned, but the packaging they leave can swamp the unpacking area. Polystyrene is light but bulky, and it spreads and gets mixed with other packaging. Tape, film, wet pieces or food residue can stop a batch from being recycled.

Agree how to pack it. Small pieces go in bulk bags, larger pieces on stable wrapped pallets. Keep other packaging out.

Plastic wrap, cardboard and straps. List them separately if you have them.

Delivery or installation project

A one-off collection after a big delivery, fit-out or store opening. You need room to hold the packaging until we collect.

Scheduled packaging programme

Regular collections for warehouse, retail or distribution deliveries. Someone on site keeps the EPS separate between visits.

How should we pack the polystyrene?

Small pieces in bulk bags, larger pieces stacked and wrapped on pallets. Keep other packaging separate, and tell us about the loading area and any dock rules.

Do you take retail packaging inserts?

Yes, if they are clean, dry, white EPS from business deliveries. Coloured, wet or food-contaminated foam isn't taken, and neither is PU or PE foam. There's no set minimum.
