Printer disposal: what we collect
-
Desktop laser and inkjet printers.
-
Floor-standing photocopiers and multifunction devices.
-
Scanners, document feeders and finishing units.
-
Internal drives, once your IT team has found them.
Clear the contract and the stored information
Computer printer disposal can involve leased machines or a managed print contract. Check you own each machine before booking. For old printer disposal, also list attached finishers, cabinets and stored supplies.
Photocopier disposal may involve internal drives, address books and stored print jobs. Your IT or print support team finds the storage and decides whether it is wiped or destroyed. Turning the machine off doesn't clear it. Cartridges are a separate job: see the printer and cartridge guide for take-back options, and tell us about any leaking toner.
How to pack it
Send model numbers, sizes and known weights, and photograph the route out, including any steps. Keep machines upright and leave heavy parts in place until we agree how to move them. Your support team disconnects the machines.
How it works
-
Send the list. Models, counts and site access.
-
Agree the data instruction. Wipe or destroy any internal drives.
-
We collect. We count the machines with your contact. Drives are wiped or destroyed as instructed, and the rest is recycled.
You get written confirmation once the drives are wiped or destroyed.
Collection, minimums and timing
Collection across metropolitan Melbourne, with delivery to our yard available by arrangement for business loads.
There is no minimum. The fee depends on the load and access, and the quote comes back by email once we have looked at what you have.
Batteries in devices
Laptops, phones and tablets can come as they are, with their batteries in. Loose, swollen or damaged lithium batteries are not taken. Tell us if any device is swollen, cracked or has been in water.
